Hello there friends! I know, I know… I’ve been absent from writing blog posts about machine learning recently. This happens every once in a while, particularly when great new video games come out, and boy, are we off to a great start in 2022 with excellent titles like Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Horizon Forbidden West, and Elden Ring. Any time big new games like this come out, this is basically what happens to me:

Of course, not only have we had some great new games, but we have also had one new very interesting piece of hardware come out in the last two weeks: the Steam Deck. When first announced in July 2021, I genuinely didn’t know what to think. Truth be told, I didn’t actually preorder a Steam Deck when preorders went live after the announcement because I honestly thought it sounded a little too good to be true. A portable PC capable of running modern games at a $399 price point? That sounded too good to be true.
